LATIN HIGH MASS ALTAR CARDS

1. "Vintage Diamond High"
"Vintage Diamond" features beautiful art from an historic set of Tridentine Mass altar cards and diacritical marks. Certain center card prayers are placed in the left and right columns so that they won't be blocked by the chalice. Includes the first half of the "Supplices" prayer. The remainder can be easily read from the altar missal. The Lavabo card includes the "Corpus tuum" prayer.
2. "Oberto"
"Oberto is a brand new design based on Rogier van der Weyden's painting "Crucifixion of Oberto Villa." Oberto has large crisp, easy to read type in a layout that is easy to follow during Mass. Includes diacritical marks to assist with proper pronunciation of the Latin prayers.
3. "Starter Set Blue"
A priest asked us to design a special set of altar cards with notes for new priests to reference during Mass. As a result, we created this "Starter" set with diacritical marks and subtle reference notes. Places where a priest should bow his head are underlined in gold. The list of Kyries is in a box on the left so that you can use them as a guide. The order of elements after Communion is in a box on the bottom so that you can be sure not to do them out of sequence. Includes "Orate Fratres" and "Corpus tuum" prayers and partial "Supplices" prayer.
4. "Beckett"
"Beckett" features art from an historic set of altar cards. Certain center card prayers are placed so that they won't be blocked by the chalice. Includes the first half of the "Supplices" prayer. The Lavabo card includes the "Corpus tuum" prayer. Current inventory does not include diacritical marks.
5. "Giotto"
"Giotto" features an image of Giotto di Bondone's pre-Renaissance painting, "Christ On The Cross Between Mary And John." Certain center card prayers are placed so that they won't be blocked by the chalice. Includes the first half of the "Supplices" prayer. The Lavabo card includes the "Corpus tuum" prayer. Diacritical marks.
6. "Jasmine"
Our "Jasmine" design features the poignant 16th Century work of Hans Holbein the Younger called "Christ on the Cross." The border art is the beautiful 19th Century work of William Morris found in many Victorian era homes. Certain center card prayers are placed so that they won't be blocked by the chalice. Includes the first half of the "Supplices" prayer. The Lavabo card includes "Corpus tuum" prayer. Current inventory does not include diacritical marks.
7. "Red"
"Red" has minimal art so that the type can be as large as possible. Certain center card prayers are placed so that they won't be blocked by the chalice. Includes the first half of the "Supplices" prayer. The Lavabo card includes the "Corpus tuum" prayer. Currently doesn't include diacritical marks.
8. "Celtic"
"Celtic" features elaborate Celtic art mostly gleaned from pages of manuscript illumination within the "Book Of Kells." "Celtic" has 11 point type on the center card and 14 point type on the two side cards. The center card layout has the first part of the "Supplices" prayer in the left column while the right column contains the "Placeat" at the top and the "Incensing" prayers in the middle. The Lavabo card has the "Corpus Tuum" prayer at the bottom. Current inventory does not include diacritical marks.
9. "French Provincial"
"French Provincial" includes several pieces of art digitally copied from images of a beautiful hand painted set of Dominican Rite altar cards painted by two cloistered Dominican nuns in 1948. I rearranged and mixed in some of my own original artwork into a hybrid design. The crucifix is an image of the Renaissance work of Giotto di Bondonne.
This set features 12 point type on the center card and larger 14 point type on the side cards. I placed the "Placeat" prayer top right on the center card for easy reference. The Lavabo card includes the "Corpus tuum" prayer on the bottom. The font is a relaxed, casual choice to complement the beautiful graphic art. Please note that due to space restrictions, the "Supplices" prayers has been omitted. Current inventory does not include diacritical marks.
